Photos of our Ethan-bump

These lovely photos of Eric, me and our Ethan-bump were taken by Aimee Bickers of Pure Expressions Photography. Aimee is a volunteer with Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep, a non-profit foundation that provides professional maternity and birth photos to parents who are losing a child. We are so grateful to Aimee and Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep for this precious gift!

Dear dear Dayna and Eric, Thank you, thank you for sharing these touching, bitter-sweet writings and photos with me. Though only a small part of what you experience, I powerfully sense the tender, gentle, joyful, grief stricken love that is part of your souls at this delicate time. I pray/totally believe that as you "hold" Ethan James in your body, your hands, and your souls, so God is tenderly, gently, joyfully and with a grief stricken heart "holding" you, b/c you are as special to Him as Ethan James is to you... Loving you too... Anita

So beautiful...so much love in the midst of the heartache.

Your writing is so heartfelt and genuine. You will look back on this as moments where God met you in the midst of the pain. He is there in your every breath. Praying you feel so held in each moment.

Praying for you today as you continue to walk this journey one step at a time.

Sending love,
Laura

Dayna, I just found your blog via Eric, who gave me the link for the slide-show of these pictures while I was in Ireland. I've been praying for you two a lot, and will be continuing my prayers as you continue to celebrate Ethan's life. I pray for him as well, that he will feel your love as you prepare him for the Father's love.

Your joy is contagious. I have also worked at Camp Hope. have been there many summers as a nurse. Although it is hard, I feel so blessed. Yep, I sure look forward to Heaven, meeting up with many of the campers who have listened to bible studies with Gail, sang and acted in talent shows and showed me what perseverance is. God really is awesome. Nancy Nurse
